NEURODIVERGENT-AFFIRMING THERAPY

Therapy for Late-Diagnosed Women, Autistic & ADHD Adults

Online therapy across the UK for autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults who are exhausted from masking, overwhelmed by expectations, or trying to make sense of who they are after diagnosis.

No fixing or judgement. No pressure to perform. Just a safe space to understand yourself.

“Maybe you’ve been holding it together for years…”

You might look like you’re coping, but you’re exhausted from pretending you are.
Spending decades trying to fit into a neurotypical world takes a quiet, heavy toll. If you are navigating a late-identified adult ADHD or autism realisation, struggling with unexplained autistic burnout, or searching for an affirmative AuDHD counsellor in the UK, you don’t need fixing. You need a safe, low-sensory space to unpack who you are when you stop masking.

Does this sound familiar?

You may have spent years wondering…
  • Why does everything seem harder for me than it does for everyone else?
  • Why can I cope brilliantly one day and completely fall apart the next?
  • Why did previous therapy never quite feel like it understood me?
  • Why am I exhausted after doing things that seem “normal” to everyone else?
  • Who am I underneath all the masking and people-pleasing?
  • What does my diagnosis actually mean for my life now?

If some of this sounds familiar, therapy can give you somewhere to slow down, make sense of it and start doing things differently.

What can we work on together?

There’s no one size fits all approach to being neurodivergent. Therapy can give you the space to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of your experiences and explore what you actually need to feel more comfortable in your own life. Together, we can look beyond the labels and focus on the things that are affecting you now, from unmasking and burnout to identity, self-compassion and finding ways of living that genuinely work for you.

Understanding Yourself

Making sense of your autistic, ADHD or AuDHD experience and how it has shaped your life.

Unmasking

Exploring who you are underneath people-pleasing, perfectionism and constantly adapting to others.

Burnout & Overwhelm

Understanding your capacity, recognising warning signs and finding more sustainable ways to manage everyday demands.

Identity After Diagnosis

Processing the emotional impact of late diagnosis or self-identification and re-evaluating your past with greater self-understanding.

Self-Compassion

Moving away from “Why can’t I just cope?” towards a more compassionate understanding of your needs.

Finding What Works for You

Exploring practical strategies, boundaries, adjustments and ways of living that fit your brain rather than somebody else’s expectations.
